As an experienced consultant, Joy is energetic, enthusiastic and passionate about clients’ weddings and events. She was previously co-owner of one of the most prestigious wedding and event consulting companies in the Triangle area. During those five years she helped many individuals successfully and happily experience their own special occasions.

Joy’s background of living in many different states and countries has given her a unique and fresh perspective in her approach to event concepts. Trained as an educator, she has honed her organizational, preparation, and problem-solving skills and she easily communicates with her clients as they explore the options available for their chosen event. Connected to a variety of excellent vendors for sites, photography, cakes, catering, rentals, music, and many others, she can guide you in making excellent choices.

It is Joy’s policy to be a positive force, a constructive problem solver, easily accessible and responsive to her clients. This approach applies to both the planning process and on the day of the event. During the event, she successfully directs and manages the complex balancing act of the event which results in a day that is pleasant and a joyful experience for all involved.
